High Court of Calcutta was started on 1st July 1862. It is one of the oldest High Courts in India. The High Court of Calcutta had been extended its circuit court in Port Blair which is the capital of Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Island and it was also extended in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal as its headquarters of the Jalpaiguri division.

Age Limit as on 01.01.2018: Between 18 to 32 years
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- for Unreserved category and OBC candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC, ST and Physically disabled candidates through Crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of “ The Registrar (Original Side), High Court, Calcutta payable at GPO, Kolkata.
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council / Board / University / Institution.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400-25200/- + GP Rs.2600/-
