Increase In Number Of Tickets Booked Through Internet
In order to incentivise the passengers for linking their Aadhaar ID and Mobile Number for booking of tickets, the present ceiling of 6 tickets that can be booked by an individual user in a month on the IRCTC website has been increased to 12 tickets.
This is for individual users whose accounts are verified through Aadhaar ID and that one of the passengers in the ticket to be booked is verifiable through Aadhaar.
