There is a question regarding the salary of officers posted in Unit Run Canteen.
The Government clarified that the Serving defence officers are not posted to operate the Unit Run Canteens (URCs). However, serving officers are assigned the responsibility to supervise the functioning of URCs in addition to their normal duties.
